The Resolve Team

Matthew Felty

Attorney Matthew Felty is a Of Counsel to Resolve Law Group. He never intended to pursue a career as a prosecuting attorney but knew that the experience could only make him a better attorney. He gained experience as a Law Clerk to now retired, Chief Justice Kinser. This experience cemented Matthew’s passion for the minutia and inner workings of the law,  At the same time, Matthew was able to sharpen his research and writing skills to develop him into the fierce advocate he is today.

He further developed his experience in the legal profession as a Commonwealth’s Attorney in Washington County, Virginia where he spent nearly three years prosecuting hundreds of misdemeanor and felony cases.

Matthew has handled hundreds of cases, in state and federal court, from simple to complex.  Matthew has navigated complex criminal cases and is a result-driven attorney who prides himself on working hard for every client.
